When I read or hear confident statements that Biden will win because he must, I get nervous that Dems are over-confident. A caveat: Biden must win nationally by 3% to insure that Trump doesn't squeak through with an electoral college victory but a popular vote loss.
Agree 100%. I believe the silent majority is going to show up and vote to reelect the President because we are sick and tired of living in a world in which we have to endure TFG every single day.
Ignore public polling. Like Thomas says, what was once a respected science is now often little more than click bait. Stop drinking the bathwater of those “in-the-know” and get yourself out and talk with strangers and friends. Listen hard for people’s feelings more than their words. You’ll usually get a good sense of which way the political winds are blowing. It’s served me well for going on forty years.
I think we need to demand substantive electoral reforms. We need to get off the duopoly seesaw. People love them some tribal identities. But that is insufficient and dangerous. Two major parties do not adequately express the various views of the American public.
